Here you can find some of the most frequently asked questions regarding Aarhus Case Competition. We will update the list as questions starts coming in.


When is the application open?

The sign up will be open from the 28th of January.


Do the team members need to be from the same university?

No they do not. They just need to be bachelor or master students from Nordic universities. 

 

How big can a team be?

The teams must consist of no more or less than 3 students.

 

Should applicants select members for the team themselves and send a team application?

The applicants must sign up as a team, they have to select the 3 members for their team themselves and to send a team application.

 

When is the application deadline for the competition?

The application deadline is on 8th of March and will be carried out through our webpage.

 

Do I need to pay something extra to join the Aarhus Case Competition?

No, there is no fee for participating in Aarhus Case Competition. Also all the expenses for the participating teams will be covered (including flight tickets to/from Aarhus, hotels, food). 

 

What should the team send in the application? (What are the selection criteria?)

The application must contain:             

    - Grade transcript

    - CV, highlighting relevant experiences

    - Most important: a motivation letter telling us why your team should be chosen for participation.

 

Are the cases presented to the participants before the arrival to Aarhus or they receive them during the competition? 

The cases aren’t presented to the participants before the arrival; they are presented during the competition. 

 

Do the participants have an opportunity to prepare themselves in advance?

During the first days of the event the teams will have 2 workshops, where they will be able to practice in solving of the business-cases and to receive the relevant answers from the professionals, but at the end of the week there will be a final “big case”.
